Today we’d like to introduce you to Clementine Spieser.

Hi Clementine, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was 11 and initially wanted to do modeling, so I did my first fashion photoshoot. I submitted the headshots and photos to agencies and signed with an agency. My agent wanted to represent me across the board (acting, commercial, print) so I started acting classes. I ended up loving acting and started to pursue that passion. I went to countless auditions and did a few short films, commercials, modeling gigs, etc. Then I did an audition for a YouTube show for a teen YouTuber, which ended up in me doing YouTube videos. 2019 was the start of my social media career, I was part of a YouTube squad and that’s when I started to grow my social media platforms. From there I started doing brand deals, tons of content, and really enjoyed it! I am currently still very involved in social media (mostly TikTok & Instagram).

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a very smooth road because the entertainment industry can be competitive and cutthroat. Starting off with social media, when you start to gain a presence, it comes with haters. People hide behind their phones and can be very cruel. At the age of 13, I was getting cyberbullied and that affected me so much since I was so young. It got so bad to the point that I made my accounts private and stopped posting. I had to deal with people I didn’t even know, telling me to kill myself and other horrible things. At one point, I wanted to completely stop social media because it was ruining my mental health and I was literally so traumatized that I became insecure about anything I posted. Real friendships are hard to find so it is important to surround yourself with people outside of this industry. I am lucky to have a good group of real friends which reminded me it is ok to trust people.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I used to be an actress but now I consider myself a content creator! I post mainly on TikTok and Instagram, I also used to be active on YouTube but I stopped posting last year because it was too much to handle. I specialize in lifestyle content, but it differs based on the platform. I tend to do more relatable & travel content on TikTok because I’ve noticed that it does the best. For Instagram, I post lifestyle photos from my daily life as a teenager. For example, me traveling, with my friends, etc.

I am most proud of two short films I starred in that have won many awards. One is called “Just Be” and the other is called “Astrall Story”. They have been shown at many film festivals and I loved the concept of both films. I also do some modeling; I do occasional photoshoots. What sets me apart from others in this industry is that I’m not superficial nor is this my whole life. I still go to school full-time, have a life outside of the industry, spend time with my family, etc. There are many people in this industry who have stopped everything for social media, which is insane to me. They are teenagers who have stopped going to school, dropped all their old friends, moved away from their family just for this industry. It’s absurd to me because this is a gamble and all just temporary. I have ethics yet some people will do anything for fame, we’re just not the same type of people.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was super energetic and a bit cray-cray. I loved singing, dancing (even if I wasn’t good at it lol), and did plays. My mom always shows me videos of when I was 5 or 6 and I would be putting on shows for her singing to Taylor Swift. I was a little fashionista, I loved dressing up in princess costumes, dressing up for school by myself when I was 6, putting on the cutest little bows in my hair. I also went to concerts with my mama a lot and I did tons of sports. I did soccer, softball, ballet, gymnastics, and tumbling. Let’s just say I was a very active child who was probably very easy to lose.
