Clementine Lea stopped by for a chat!

Colby: Hello, Clementine. It is great to speak to you. Firstly, let’s talk about social media. Did you always expect to become such a big hit online?

Clementine: I never expected to ever gain followers on social media, it all just fell into place. I did an audition for a Youtube TV show and ended up doing youtube videos with a group of other kids and that’s how I started creating content on social media. I never went into acting expecting to gain followers, it happened very naturally and I’m going along with it because I love creating videos on TikTok, Instagram, etc.

Colby: You started as an actress; did you always aspire to act from a young age?

Clementine: Since I was very young, I have always loved to work on projects related to entertainment such as singing, dancing, doing musicals, etc. I was super creative. I dreamt of becoming a model and that got me into acting which I ended up loving and pursuing at age 11. I did a school musical in 7th grade and played Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. I stopped acting last year though because it was too difficult to keep up with full time school.

Colby: You are passionate about charity work; which charity is the closest to your heart?

Clementine: The charity that is closest to my heart has to be Perry’s Place. It’s a cat sanctuary which rescues cats and kittens from shelters and saves their lives. They hold the cats in a sanctuary, care for them, vaccinate them, socialize them, etc and get them adopted by loving and caring families. I actually adopted my two cats Willow and Audra from them! Every other Monday, I do a cat enrichment program at Perry’s Place/Heaven on Earth where I spend time going room to room playing with the cats and stimulating them so that they have some active time, and cuddling too.

Colby: What is your favourite song of all time?

Clementine: My favorite song of all time is definitely “Tumblr Girls” by G-Eazy. It gives me such LA, Range Rover mom vibes and it makes me so happy. I also love any song by the Weeknd.

Colby: Lastly, what are you looking forward to most in 2023?

Clementine: I’m looking forward to applying to colleges in 2023, going to more fun events and most importantly launching a new line of clothes. I want to create something unique to me so I have been working on creating a new line. I also want to get more involved in volunteer work.
